Your avatar is your ID check.
Creating your avatar looks like a fun first step. Behind the scenes it’s how we make sure every account on Revealio belongs to a real person.

Take a live selfie.
Verification starts in the app camera. Fit your face in the frame and make sure it’s well lit and clearly visible.

Get your avatar.
Your selfie is turned into a personal 3D avatar. It’s what people see when a chat starts, so you can be yourself without showing your face.

We check you’re real.
Our verification system compares your selfie with your avatar and catches the usual tricks: a black or blank frame, a photo of a screen, a photo of a photo, or no face at all.

Verified, or reviewed.
When there’s no doubt, your profile gets the verified badge. Anything suspicious is flagged for our moderation team, and fake accounts are removed.
No bots. No fakes. No exceptions.
A conversation is only worth having if there’s a real person on the other side. That’s the one thing we never compromise on.
Real people only
Every account is checked through avatar creation, and verified members get a badge so you know who you’re talking to.
Bots are banned
Automated, fake and spam accounts have no place on Revealio. When we find one, it’s removed for good.
No catfishing
Your avatar has to match your selfie. Impersonating someone else or using another person’s photos gets your account removed.
Verified to post
Only verified members can create posts, and rooms can be set to verified-only, so the feed stays real for everyone.
You’re always in control.
Everything starts anonymous. If you match and the conversation clicks, more of each other unlocks step by step. Nobody sees more of you than you’ve chatted your way to.

Chats open with just your avatar. Your photos stay blurred, and nothing else about you is visible yet.
Reveal at your pace
Interests, your voice, your photos and your socials only unlock for someone you keep talking to. Lose interest and the reveal simply stops.
Leave anytime
Unmatch in two taps, or block and report someone so you never see each other again. No explanations needed.
Pick your spaces
Join women-only, men-only or verified-only rooms, and turn on face anonymization when you post a photo or video.
Not okay is not tolerated.
Anonymous never means anything goes. Harassment, hate, sexual content and scams get removed, and the people behind them lose their account.

Screened automatically
Uploaded photos are checked for nudity and sexual content. Captions, comments and room names are screened for slurs and harassment, even when they’re disguised with symbols or odd spelling.

Reported in a few taps
Report someone from their profile or straight from your chat. Our moderation team reviews every report within 24 hours.

Real consequences
Depending on what happened, content is removed and accounts are suspended or banned permanently. Serious violations lead to an immediate ban, without warning.

Anything that sexualises or endangers minors is removed immediately, the account is banned and we report it to the authorities.

Whether it’s a new friend or a first date, the same common sense keeps it fun.
Keep it in the app
Chat on Revealio until you feel comfortable. Your socials unlock on their own when the conversation gets there.
Meet somewhere public
A busy café, a bar or a park. Plan your own way there and back.
Tell a friend
Let someone know where you’re going, who you’re meeting and when you expect to be back.
Never send money
No matter the story. Anyone asking for money, gift cards or crypto should be reported.
Trust your gut
If something feels off, you don’t owe anyone an explanation. Unmatch, block or leave.
Report, don’t ignore
A quick report helps us remove people who make Revealio worse for everyone.
See something that doesn’t feel right?
In a chat, open the menu and choose Block and Report User. You can also go to Settings → Help & Support → Report Inappropriate Activity, or contact us through our support page. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
