Revealio, a mobile application developed by Turtle Tech BV ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page describes our standards against CSAE and how we enforce them in the Revealio app on Google Play and the App Store.
1. Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following is strictly prohibited on Revealio, in profiles, posts, comments, photos, videos, voice recordings and private chats:
- Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including photos, videos, drawings and computer-generated or AI-generated imagery depicting a minor in a sexual context;
- Sexualizing minors in any way, including sexual comments about or toward minors;
- Grooming, meaning building a relationship with a minor in order to sexually exploit or abuse them;
- Sextortion, meaning threatening or coercing a minor to share sexual images or to engage in sexual activity;
- Trafficking of minors, or advertising, soliciting or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a minor;
- Linking to, advertising or offering CSAM elsewhere, including on other platforms or messaging services;
- Any other content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses or endangers children.
These standards are part of our Terms of Service, which prohibit exploiting minors in any way.
2. Age Requirement
Revealio is intended for adults. Users must be at least 17 years old to create an account. Accounts we believe belong to someone under the minimum age are removed.
3. Detection and Prevention
We combine automated systems and human review to keep CSAE off Revealio:
- Uploaded photos, including profile photos, post media and chat images, are automatically scanned for sexual content, and violating images are blocked or removed;
- Posts, comments, chat messages and profile text are automatically screened for language that refers to CSAM or the sexual exploitation of minors, and violating text is blocked;
- Posts detected as CSAE are hidden immediately, the author loses the ability to post, and the case is escalated to our moderation team for review;
- Users can block any other user at any time.
4. How to Report
You can report concerns without leaving the app:
- In the app: open the user's profile or your chat with them, tap the report option and choose a reason. Use "Underage User" if you believe someone is a minor, or "Inappropriate Content" for sexual content involving a minor. You can add details before sending the report.
- By email: write to support@revealio.app.
- On the web: use our support page and select "Report a user".
We review reports within 24 hours and prioritize reports involving the safety of children. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first. You can also report CSAM directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline or, in Europe, to a hotline of the INHOPE network, such as Child Focus in Belgium.
5. How We Handle CSAM and CSAE
When we become aware of CSAM or CSAE on Revealio, through automated detection, a user report or any other way, we:
- Remove the content from the app immediately;
- Permanently ban the accounts involved;
- Preserve the relevant evidence as required by law;
- Report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTipline, and to the competent law enforcement authorities where required;
- Report accounts on other platforms that are used to distribute CSAM to those platforms;
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
6. Compliance with Child Safety Laws
Revealio complies with applicable child safety laws, including the laws of Belgium and the European Union, and the reporting obligations that apply to the regions where the app is available.
