Everything you want to know.

Revealio is a free social app for meeting new people on iPhone and Android, whether you’re looking for friends, a date or just a good conversation. Profile photos start blurred and unlock step by step as you chat, so you connect through personality before looks.

No. Plenty of people use Revealio to make new friends, find people to hang out with in their city or simply talk to strangers about things they love. Dating is part of it too. Whether a conversation turns into a friendship or something more is up to you.

Yes. Revealio is free to download and use. Revealio Pro is an optional subscription with unlimited daily post unlocks, double coins, bonus coins, early profile unlocks and a bigger match selection.

Revealio is available on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android phones.

You need to be at least 17 years old to create an account. Accounts we believe belong to someone under the minimum age are removed.

Download the app, sign in and take a selfie. Your selfie becomes the avatar people see at the start of a chat, and it’s also used to verify your account, so make sure your face is clearly visible and well lit. Then add your interests, photos, a voice recording and your socials. They unlock for the people you talk to as your conversations grow.

The app and this website are available in English, Dutch, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Swedish, Russian and Ukrainian.

Every conversation unlocks more of the other person as you exchange messages: their 3D avatar after 2 messages, their interests at 20, your Revealio Score at 40, their voice at 60, their photo gallery at 80 and their socials at 100. Their profile photo gradually unblurs along the way.

So a first impression is about what someone says, not how they look. You get a feel for each other’s humour, interests and energy before you see a face, which makes conversations more relaxed and a lot more honest.

Their profile photo gets a little sharper at every stage and is fully clear once you’ve exchanged 40 messages. Their voice, photo gallery and socials keep unlocking after that as the conversation continues.

The Revealio Score unlocks at 40 messages and shows, as a percentage, how similar the two of you are. It comes with the badges someone has earned by chatting, and you unlock more badges the more you talk.

Yes. With Revealio Pro you can unlock profile sections early, without waiting for the message count.

Browse the Match Center and filter by age, gender and distance, join a chat room, or respond to someone’s post. Every one-on-one chat starts anonymous, with only your avatar visible.

Chat rooms are anonymous group chats by topic or city, such as General, Friends, Nightlife, Dating and Confessions. Rooms can be women-only, men-only or verified-only, and you can send voice notes of up to 60 seconds.

Yes. You can start a new room around a topic or your city. Rooms can also have an entry fee in coins, which gives members 7 days of access. Entry fees don’t auto-renew, and the creator earns half of every fee.

Yes. Got a crush? Pick someone from your contacts and Revealio sends them a personal, anonymous invite on your behalf.

Open the menu in the chat and choose Unmatch User. Unmatching can’t be undone. If you don’t want someone to be able to find you again, choose Block and Report User instead.

Posts let you share a challenge, such as a question, riddle or task, or ask for a photo or video response. Answers stay blurred until you unlock them, which makes it a fun way to meet new people.

Only verified members can post. Take a quick selfie to verify your avatar. It keeps the feed real for everyone.

Everyone gets a free daily unlock, and you can unlock more posts with coins. The unlock price rises as more people unlock a post, and the creator earns 70% of every unlock. Revealio Pro gives you unlimited unlocks.

When you turn it on, faces in your photo or video are detected on our servers and pixelated in the version that gets published. Face detection only finds where faces are. It doesn’t identify anyone, and your original is never shown to other users.

Drafts are only visible to you, so you can review a post before it goes live. Drafts you don’t publish or edit for 180 days are deleted automatically.

Spin the daily wheel, keep your streak going and open mystery boxes. When people unlock your posts or join a room you created, you earn coins too.

Unlocking posts, sending a match request to someone whose post you like, joining rooms with an entry fee and protecting your streak with a Streak Freeze.

Spin the wheel every day to build your streak. Longer streaks give bigger multipliers on your coin rewards. Can’t make it one day? A Streak Freeze costs 20 coins and protects your streak for a day.

Unlimited daily post unlocks, double coins on your rewards, bonus coins, early profile unlocks, unlimited chats, longer availability in the match pool and a bigger match selection.

Revealio Pro is available as a monthly, quarterly or annual subscription. Every plan includes the same features. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Pro is billed by Apple or Google, so you manage and cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before your current period ends to stop the next renewal.

Sign in with the same account and tap Restore Purchases in the app. Your subscription is linked to your Apple or Google account, so it carries over.

Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable under our terms. Payments are handled by Apple and Google, so any refund request goes through them and follows their policies.

Every profile is verified with a selfie, photos and post previews are blurred on our servers, and you can turn on face anonymization for challenge responses. You can report or block anyone, reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and Revealio is for ages 17 and up.

In a chat, open the menu and choose Report or Block and Report User. You can also report from someone’s profile, or go to Settings → Help & Support → Report Inappropriate Activity. We review every report within 24 hours.

You no longer see each other anywhere in the app. When you choose Block and Report User, you’re also unmatched straight away.

At the start of a chat people only see your avatar. Your profile photo unblurs step by step for the people you actually talk to, and photo and post previews are blurred on our servers before anyone sees them.

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Uploads and messages are screened automatically, violating content is removed, accounts are banned permanently and child sexual abuse material is reported to the authorities.

Go to Settings → My Data → Remove my Account. Your account is permanently deleted if you don’t sign in again within 7 days, so you can still change your mind until then.

Yes. You can request a complete copy of the data we hold about you in Settings → My Data, or by emailing support@revealio.app.

In the app, go to Settings → Help & Support → Contact Us. You can also email support@revealio.app or use the form on our support page. We read every message.
